Biography

• Native and resident of Spartanburg County for 38 years.
• 1990 Graduate of Dorman High School.
• Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
• Married for 12 years to my wife, Amy.
• Daughter - Ashlyn (9) and Son - Aidan (4)
• Active member & Deacon at Philadelphia Baptist Church.
• Former School Board Trustee in Spartanburg District 6 (Elected 2005) - resigned in 2008 to become a State Senator.
• Small Business Owner / Engineer.  Manages the NASCAR Nationwide Series and oversees the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Aerodynamic Program for Chevrolet.
• South Carolina State Senator - Elected 2008
• Proud Conservative and member of the Senate Republican Caucus
• Member of Spartanburg Rotary Club
