I am a friend of Shane Martin. I have known him for as long as I can remember. He has such a welcoming personality about him. Shane is a mighty servant of the Lord. The works that he does is not to glorify himself, but to glorify our Heavenly Father. As a matter of fact, I can think of several times I have thanked him for things and he has said to me not to thank him, but to thank the Lord because that is where his strength comes from. That is a testament of him. He is also an amazing family man. He makes sure, not only that everyone is cared for, but that love is poured over them.
Shane Martin is an awesome friend. He is proud of the friends he has, which in turn makes them proud to call him “friend”. He is such a community oriented person. He puts his whole heart into his community. There are so many unseen things that he does because he is not one to “toot his own horn”. When I think back over the years, I can honestly say he has never made me one promise that he has not kept. When it comes to Shane going into politics, I never would have thought that would happen. Not because he is not talented enough, but because he’s not flashy, power hungry, or the type to bash someone else to get ahead. He is though a Christian, a born leader, and an honest motivated person who wants nothing more than to see his community excel. As I have told him before, whatever field he enters and no matter what seat he anticipates filling, he has my support.
