The Senate began debate last week of a bill designed to protect unborn children from their twentieth week of life forward. H. 3114, the “SOUTH CAROLINA PAIN-CAPABLE UNBORN CHILD PROTECTION ACT”, is set for priority debate, and I look forward to getting it passed this year. The opportunity to protect children, and to be, in some way, the voice of the voiceless, is something I take very seriously. I will be focused on getting this bill passed and signed by the governor and, thereby, saving even more lives next year. I look forward to getting this done.
